The product they sent was the 45ml CC Creme HD RRP £38. It comes in one shade which is said to adapt to all skin tones, you apply it on its own as a moisturising CC cream or as a base under foundation, it is said to make skin look luminous, fresh and give a radiant complexion. The cream or 'creme' contains CC pigments which balances out the pigments in the skin reducing redness and blemishes giving a flawless radiant complexion.
With my dry skin I have never personally used a CC cream before and normally just stick to my usual routine of; moisturiser, primer and foundation so I was a little sceptical using this at first, however having giving this a try I have found myself reaching out for it every morning.
First things first; this product contains SPF 45...total bonus! The product comes out as a white cream thicker than a normal moisturiser yet super soft, easily to blend and lightweight. When applied to the skin it starts to adapt to your skin tone and then drys to a lovely natural colour.
The application is smooth and feels lovely on the skin. I do have dry skin especially on my forehead so I decided to apply my daily moisturiser first and then this on top. The cream is best applied sparingly as too much can make the skin look orange- it is one of those products where a little really does go a long way. Having applied the product it has a really good coverage, it gives my skin an even appearance and covered the redness I have on my cheeks even without a layer of foundation. Used under foundation I noticed a huge difference in the look of my skin, it looked radiant, healthy and for the first time I had the sought-after dewy complexion!
My overall opinion; yes the cream is a little pricey, however a very small amount is used daily so it will last a long time! I honestly loved the way this made my skin and makeup look and has totally replaced my primer, my only tip would be if you do have fair skin apply a tiny amount and build coverage slowly as it can at times look a little orange. Would I purchase this? Definitely yes!
